To get a drivers license in South Africa, you need to pass at least 2 tests;
1. Learners Test
2. Drivers Test (Code 8, 10, 14)
Depending on your status in South Africa, you will need different types of documentation:
South African Citizens / Permanent Residents and Refugees with Red ID Card:
- Copy of Valid ID document with 13digit bar code
- Proof of residence
- ID Photos
Foreign Nationals with Passports:
- Copy of Valid Passport with a Valid Permit allowing residence
- Copy of Traffic Register which is provided free of charge at the traffic department.
- Proof of residence
- If working, proof of employment, if a student, proof of registration with the college.
- ID Photos
If you are learning with us, you can request us to handle everything from application to the department for test dates and someone to take you to the testing station on the material date. This works very well since you will have peace of mind.
Absolutely YES, we can make arrangements for you to use the same truck or car that you are familiar with during the test date. It is your big day and we go out to make sure that you do pass. Trucks/Cars are part of the package if you decide to use them. Make sure to pay the truck hire and it will be yours on that day.
